You will qualify for a free TV Licence as soon as you turn 75. To apply for it, please call 0300 555 0281 and give your date of birth and National Insurance Number. You only need to pay for a TV Licence until you turn 75, so your payment schedule will show the payments you need to make up to your 75th birthday.

I have a savings card but haven't got my TV Licence yet. Is this normal?

Your paper licence is sent to you by post, attached to a letter. If you haven't received it, call us on 0300 555 0281 to speak to one of our agents.

What is the TV Licensing savings card?

This is for people who already have a TV Licence. The TV Licensing savings card helps you save towards your next licence in small, manageable amounts at any time from as little as £2.

How does it work?

You'll receive a Welcome Pack containing your savings card. You'll be able to add to your savings whenever you like. If you've saved enough to cover the cost of your next TV Licence when your current licence expires, we'll automatically send you your next licence in the post.
